Do you know a veteran, firefighter or a police officer who risks their life every day? What about a stay at home parent? How about that neighbor that cuts your grass? Well, we call them superheroes. USA Cares announces the 

Superhero 1 Mile and 5K Showdown!

 This event will take place in downtown

 Elizabethtown, KY on Saturday, July 4th 2015.

Runners/Walkers will challenge all their Superhero friends to see who is the fastest. Both races will be timed. The 1 mile will go first then we will set back up to do the 5K. That way participants can do both if they choose. $25 for 1 mile or 5K and $40 to do both events. We encourage everyone to dress up as heroes and show us what powers you possess!
